Simple Constitution 3

All government purchases must be appropriated by congress, and an accounting of appropriations will be made public when deemed necessary.

No titles of nobility will be issued from the United States’ government, and any person who receives such a title from a foreign government must have it approved by congress.


Section 10. Individual states may not perform the acts listed in Section 8 as they are reserved for the sole use by the federal government.

No state has the power to create individual tariffs without the consent of congress.

No state has the right to withhold troops in times of conflict.



ARTICLE II.


Section 1. The President of the United States holds chief executive power and will serve a four year term with a vice-president.

Election procedures:


Only persons born in the United States may pursue the office of president and they must be at least thirty-five years old.

If the president happens to die a horrible and tragic death while in office or while in Texas, the vice-president will assume the position of president and everything will be dandy.

The pay for the president shall not be increased during his or her term, and the president may not receive any other form of compensation for the office.

The president must recite and firmly believe and strive to uphold the following statement: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”


Section 2. The president shall be the Commander in Chief of all armed forces. The president may make treaties if approved by 2/3rds of the senate, and he or she may make appointments for positions where elections are not called for.


Section 3. The president will, yearly, give the public a State of the Union address to publicize the State of the Union. The president has the powers to adjourn congress on a whim, receive ambassadors, and shall be charged with upholding the laws of this constitution and any hitherto-follow laws.
